From Traditional or Historic to Modern or Contemporary, we help homeowners design and build their visions.

Michael believes the principles of Honesty, Respect and Pride were instilled in him by his family at a very young age. He especially acknowledges the years he spent interning with his grandfather,who started an electrical contracting company and has been in business for over 55 years. This is where Michael witnessed these principles in action,creating life-long relationships between his grandfather and his clients. These experiences were further reinforced by his father and the successful accounting business he has created. The commitment and respect his father has for his clients, making them his top priority were something Michael witnessed daily and has incorporated into Double Door’ way of doing business.

Michael’s next years were spent at the University of Michigan where he received a bachelor’s degree with honors in the field of Mechanical Engineering. After graduation, Michael took a position with General Motors Automotive (GM) as a Design Engineer. Throughout his years with General Motors, Michael held positions in design, quality control and project management. These experiences are what Michael credits in becoming customer focused and helping him fine tune his scheduling and management skills. After leaving GM to pursue a lifelong passion for construction, he received his Real Estate license from the State of Texas. Michael uses this license in his everyday design work to create marketable products with great resale value.
